Artists in Schools

Information about grants to schools wishing to employ a professional artist to work in a school-based project. Links to information, guidelines and an application form.

Partnerships in Teaching Excellence (PiTE) Scholarships

The Department of Education, in partnership with the Faculty of Education (UTAS), provides scholarships for selected students in the final year of their Master of Teaching or Bachelor of Education in 2013. PiTE 2013 Brochure.

Professional Learning Institute (PLI)

The Professional Learning Institute will, in partnership with others, ensure the realisation of the Department's vision of a successful, skilled and innovative workforce.

Research in Government Schools

Educational Performance Services co-ordinates all applications to conduct research in government schools in Tasmania.

Bigger Things

Bigger Things is an initiative aimed at improving the future for Huon Valley students. Over 5 years, Huonville High School, Hobart College and the University of Tasmania will work together to provide more opportunities and more information for students, parents and the broader Huon Valley community.
