Tasmania’s first adult and community education (ACE) policy was launched by the Minister for Education, the Hon. Paula Wriedt MHA at the inaugural ACE Conference in Launceston on Friday 3 September 2004.
The policy recognises the significance and distinctiveness of ACE, and aims to harness its potential contribution to the social, cultural and economic development of Tasmania.
