State Library activity programs make our libraries fun and rewarding places to visit. Introducing children to books from a very young age promotes early literacy learning and encourages a lifelong enjoyment of reading and use of libraries. Many libraries hold weekly Storytime sessions which are designed for pre-school children and their parents to come, listen and participate.
