Tasmania's future depends on information, knowledge and connected communities that embrace learning throughout their lives.
The Community Knowledge Network strategy provides a framework to develop new ways to enhance lifelong learning opportunities for all Tasmanians and help build a state that values knowledge and ideas. This strategy also puts the users of our services, the Tasmanian public, at the centre of everything we do.
The Community Knowledge Network provides an opportunity to bring together the programs and services of the State Library of Tasmania, the network of online access centres, Adult Education and the Archives Office of Tasmania to provide a larger resource base and enhanced services for all Tasmanians. Bringing these facilities together will transform the way Tasmanians access education and information through a statewide network of service points.
