Strategic Activities

The Department of Education is the coordinating agency accountable for delivering the government’s contribution toward 19 specific benchmarks that support the achievement of the goals of Tasmania Together. As a government agency, we are responsible for the progress of the specified benchmarks. A close link has been established with the budget process to ensure that departmental resource allocation decisions reflect Tasmania Together as a strategic driver of government activity. We also integrate Tasmania Together into our strategic focus and reporting arrangements.
