Benefits of using the SharePoint site

The WHS staff and Lighthouse cluster Board of Principals considered the benefits of using a Sharepoint site.
 
 One WHS staff member could see a major benefit in being able to print out the Important information page from the IEP for relief teachers. Another could see the benefit of the SharePoint content for reporting.
 
 The staff could also see the benefit of using it for students on behaviour contracts. Teachers could easily access relevant information, such as determining where a student should be at a particular time. Teachers usually have to check the noticeboard in the staffroom for such information.
 
 The principals present at the meeting were extremely impressed with the SharePoint idea and could immediately see the benefits of using SharePoint for their students with IEPs.
 
 The cluster’s Teacher Learning Support Leader (TLSL) also realised the benefits for being able to check the results of survey questions to gauge whether children were reaching their expected outcomes related to their IEP. It would allow for constant monitoring and updating, due to the ease of accessing, viewing and updating.
