Bridgewater and Southern Midlands Education Renewal Taskforce report to the Minister for Education [Word 301KB] was released on Wednesday, 30 April 2008.
The Taskforce (BASMERT) was set up by the Minister for Education and Skills, David Bartlett, to examine educational options for the area following the Bridgewater High School fire.

Community members are encouraged to provide feedback on the report by completing the online feedback form or by posting comments to Bridgewater High School, PO Box 37, Bridgewater TAS 7030. Feedback can also be provided at displays at the Brighton Council, the Brighton Post Office, and the Bridgewater Library and Online Access Centre. Comments will be received until Wednesday 21 May.
