Partnerships in Teaching Excellence (PiTE) Scholarships: The Department of Education, in partnership with the Faculty of Education (UTas), provides scholarships for selected students in the second year of their Master of Teaching and the fourth year of their Bachelor of Education in 2012.
Professional Experience in Isolated and Rural Schools (PEIRS): Information about PEIRS, a program which encourages pre-service teachers to undertake school experience in participating rural and isolated schools by providing support for accommodation and travel.
Graduate Recruitment Overview (Teachers): The Department of Education, Tasmania offers pre-service teachers who are currently enrolled in the final year of their degree the opportunity to apply for permanent teaching positions.
The Ray Richardson Tasmanian University Scholarship in Education: Information about the Ray Richardson Scholarship which is administered by the University of Tasmania, and available to a student educated in north-east Tasmania and commencing a course leading to a career in teaching.
