Selection Panel Training

It is strongly recommended that all members of Department of Education, Tasmania selection panels be provided with appropriate training in their roles and responsibilities including the need for applicants to meet any essential requirements of the position.

For teaching service positions, the Branch HR Managers will conduct training within their Branch at regular intervals. This will include training for community representatives on Principal selection panels. Principals, in consultation with Branch HR Managers, may also deliver training to panel members as required.

For non-teaching positions, training will be provided by the Human Resources Management Branch employees.
