* Progression from Clerk Level 1 to Level 2 is subject to the Department being satisfied that the employee's overall performance has justified the progression.

** There is no automatic progression between the CSO Level 1 and 2, nor the CSO Level 2 and 3. Progression can come only from successful application for a vacant position at a higher level.
