The Early Years unit provides support to schools and their communities to implement effective practices and programs to enhance young children's learning from birth to 8 years. 

Launching into Learning

Launching into Learning is a new $12.6m Tasmanian Government committment over the four years 2006 - 2010. It focuses on learning and learners in the years prior to formal schooling, that is birth to four years. The initiative aims to support parents as their child's first teacher through programs led by schools.
