Snug Primary School received a free apple slinky machine during the recent Fruit and Veg Month in recognition of some of the great work they are doing to promote healthy eating.

Here’s just some of their ideas:

  • A 10 am fruit break
  • Students to eat fruit 1st at recess
  • Newsletter inserts used to inform families
  • Healthy eating promoted through the organised health program
  • Healthy lunches
  • Students work in garden
  • Monthly garden reports
  • Cooking with own garden supplies
