Premier's Reading Challenge 2008

Premier's Reading Challenge

Get ready, get set, go!

The inaugural Premier’s Reading Challenge in 2008 was a great success. Thanks to all those who participated.

We want to improve the Challenge where we can each year, and in listening to your feedback, we’ve made a few changes for 2009.

The 2009 Premier’s Reading Challenge will take off in Term 2, this time for students to read ten books over the ten weeks between 22 June and 28 August.

Also this year, the Challenge has been extended to include Prep students as well as students in all grades up to 6. Students will be challenged to read at least one book a week by any writer and on any topic, including fiction and non-fiction, as long as it is appropriate and a challenging read.

Watch this spot for more details. Full information on the Challenge, including registration kits, will be sent to all schools before the end of Term 1.
