  • to offer opportunities whereby Tasmanian languages teachers exchange ideas with each other to enrich Tasmanian languages programs;
  • to offer mechanisms whereby programs continue to be offered to Tasmanian students from early childhood right through to university levels of education;
  • to offer mechanisms whereby both Tasmanian teachers and students continue to be aware that developing skills in other languages are highly necessary and important in the multi-cultural work and leisure places of today.
