The Kindergarten Development Check (KDC) is designed to assist teachers in the early identification of any Kindergarten student who is at risk of not achieving expected developmental outcomes and may require a specific intervention program and/or support from specific support personnel. A set of 21 identified critical core markers determines whether a student is deemed at risk of not achieving expected developmental outcomes.

Support Materials

Indicators of Development from Birth to Four Years complements the Kindergarten Development Check. It focuses on the years before kindergarten, and will support the many adults who work with young children in this age range.
