Pathway Planning is about assisting young people to explore their unique set of needs and capacities by identifying their strengths, interests, goals and aspirations. This will support them to make informed and realistic choices about their future pathways.
My Plan for My Future is a resource for schools to support Year 8 students to engage in the pathway planning process.
The resource includes:
Overview and rationale
Learning sequences designed to support the development of the skills, concepts and understandings necessary for students to effectively engage with their learning pathway plan.
A tool to help young people plan for the future.
In text and symbol formats, the latter for students requiring picture symbols to facilitate communication.
