Partnership projects

The following projects are or were managed by the Department of Education in partnership with other organisations and entities.

ANZAC Day Banners: Details about the ANZAC Day Banners project and links to the banners of every military unit to leave Tasmanian shores to serve in conflict and peacekeeping.
Civics and Citizenship Education/Discovering Democracy: Information about this Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) funded civics and citizenship education project.
Indonesian online: Learning objects and online teacher resource materials to support the learning and teaching of Indonesian.
Move Well Eat Well for Schools Project: Nutrition and physical initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of school children.
National Drug Education Project, Tasmania: Tasmania's drug education project.
National Literacy and Numeracy Week 2009: National events Reach for the stars, National reading day and the Dorothea McKellar poetry competition awards will again be held during the week.
Swimming and Water Safety: A resource for teachers, parents and students of schools in Tasmania which includes school programs, teaching resources, Department of Education policies on swimming & water safety, and support materials.
The Access Asia Program: Part of the National Asia Education Foundation initiative that seeks to promote teaching and learning about the diversity of environments, cultures, religions and societies of Asia.
