The Access Asia Program

The Access Asia Program in Tasmania is part of the National Asia Education Foundation initiative that seeks to promote teaching and learning about the diversity of environments, cultures, religions and societies of Asia. It is cross-curricular but focuses particularly on SOSE, English and the Arts. It works towards achieving its aims by producing texts, websites and CDs in the Access Asia Series and through professional development opportunities. Professional development options include In-Country Study Tours, Off-Shore Conferences, University Courses and less formal workshops focussing on using the Access Asia materials.
