Provides appropriate resources (including digital resources) and information to meet the needs of the school community
Utilises current technology to provide efficient access to and effective communication of information
Provides opportunities and resources for teachers to integrate information skills into learning activities
Is provided with sufficient funding to achieve the school's educational aims
Enriches students reading experiences and develops their skills as independent learners
Supports the teaching and learning process
Has adequate professional and trained support staff
Is planned and designed to be a pleasant and stimulating learning environment
Is monitored regularly to assess its use
Improves student literacy standards
Models and monitors priorities based on contemporary library principles
