Offer settlement information, advice, support and services to migrants and refugees.
IHSS (Integrated Humanitarian Settlement strategy)
Provides Statewide support to newly arrived refugees with initial settlement needs. The IHSS also oversees community volunteer networks. Phone Migrant Resource Centres North and North West and Centacare in the South.

Offers counselling and support for survivors of Torture and Trauma.
Clare House
Offers counselling and support to children and younger adolescents.
Translating and Interpreting Service (available nationally)
Assists with translating of documents and provides access to on-site and telephone interpreters. Fees payable.

Multicultural Tasmania
State government agency which provides assistance and guidance to multicultural community groups and individuals. Has an advocacy role in supporting refugees and migrants to access government services.

Offers English language classes Statewide to newly arrived migrants and refugees.
Networking for Harmony
Applies for funding, at local government level, for community projects that promote racial harmony, interaction and awareness.
Tasmanians for Refugees
Voluntary community network actively concerned about current government policies towards refugees and asylum seekers. Provide advice and practical support to Temporary Visa Holders. Provide links and information to other refugee support groups and organisations.
