The 2008 relay event, managed by the Mathematical Association of Tasmania (MAT), will be held in three regional venues on Sunday 17 August. Australian Museum Eureka Science Prizes

Sleek Geeks prizes in both primary and secondary divisions for a short film (1 to 3 minutes) celebrating innovation in science.

Action against Climate Change prize for secondary students for a short multimedia presentation (1 to 3 minutes) exploring issues associated with carbon dioxide emissions and greenhouse gases.
