Holly's Heroes

In Holly's Heroes students will interact with the series distributed by the ACTF.

All Holly wants to do is play basketball, but the only team in town won't let her play.  She has to find another way.  Game on.

This online program deals with the areas of wellbeing and friendship as well as other relationships.  Holly shows all the Program Achieve keys allowing for a lot of discussion on how this can apply to the viewer.  Self talk also features.

Holly is from New Zealand so indigenous issues are also featured.

Students will be challenged to find other ways of solving problems that occur in each episode and which often occur in their own life. Also, they will explain why they believe the characters solved the problem a particular way.

Holly's Heroes will be used as the stimulus with copies available from CELO upon successful enrolment. Replacement cost will be invoiced for lost or damaged copies.

Preference will be given to schools with enrolments of 5 students, but these will also be processed in the order in which they are received.

Schools nominating students for CELO programs must commit to supporting their students. Where the support person is not the classroom teacher, good communication between the support person, delivery teacher and the classroom teacher is crucial to enable strong links to the students' classroom program.
