So Far So Good

In "So Far So Good", students will be supported in deciding what the producers have used to convey specific messages. They will be encouraged to look at the characters and how they are constructed. Students will be challenged to find other ways of solving problems that occur in each episode or explain why they think the characters solved the problem a particular way.

Term I, 2008 will be using episodes 1 to 5 as the stimulus with copies of the video available from CELO upon successful enrolment. Replacement cost will be invoiced for lost or damaged copies.

Preference will be given to enrolments where there are 5 students, but these will also be processed in the order in which they are received.

Friendship features strongly in all the videos. Students will look at how friendships develop and how this mirrors their own friendships and how online friendships may be different.

Another key component will be students using Information Communication Technology (ICT) to communicate effectively with other students, reflecting on ICT versus face to face for effectively developing friendships.

Schools nominating students for CELO programs must commit to supporting their students. Where the support person is not the classroom teacher, good communication between the support person, delivery teacher and the classroom teacher is crucial to enable strong links to the students' classroom program.
