The brochure Early entry into kindergarten for young children who are gifted [Word 48KB] contains general advice and contact details for people and organisations who can answer any questions you may have about the process. Please read this carefully before commencing an application.
The Parent Nomination Form [Word 120KB] should be completed and returned to the school principal by the last Friday in October. The information sought will help your child's school identify any strengths and weaknesses your child may have. Please fill out this form as honestly as possible.
You may include additional material such as artwork, a list of words your child can read, a tape of your child reading or playing music or anything else you believe highlights your child's gifts.
You should be notified as to the outcome of your application prior to the end of the school year.
If you decide not to proceed with an application, please notify the school principal as soon as possible.
