Assessment and counselling services

Assessment of highly able / gifted students

NB: The CELO Assessment and Counselling services are temporarily unavailable.

The Guidance Officer for CELO is available to:

  • assist Guidance officers with formal assessment
  • assist Guidance Officers in planning for monitoring progress of highly able / gifted students
  • support teachers, particularly in relation to transition and individual education plans (IEPs)
  • support Guidance Officers in assessing students and interpreting assessment results.

Counselling for highly able / gifted students

The Guidance Officer for CELO provides a counselling support service in relation to students who are highly able / gifted, for teachers and parents. The Guidance Officer also provides psychological counselling for students who are highly able / gifted in Department of Education schools.
