State Co-ordinating Committee

The management of the NSDE Project at state level is through the NSDEP State Co-ordinating Committee. This will involve regular meetings to plan implementation and monitor progress against Project objectives.

The members of the Committee include:

  • Esmè Murphy : Chair, State Coordinating Committee, and Principal Education Officer - Supportive School Communities, DoE
  • Pamela Windsor: Psychologist, Association of Independent Schools of Tasmania
  • Sr Majella Kelly: Senior Consultant, Catholic Education Office
  • Michael Voumard: Manager, Drug Education Network
  • Sylvia Engels: Acting Manager, Alcohol & Drug Service, Department of Health and Human Services
  • Karen Swabey: Senior Lecturer – Human Movement, University of Tasmania
  • Steve Biggs: Assistant to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Tasmania Police
  • Michael Kelly: Acting State Manager, Drug Education Network Inc
  • Mandy Reynolds-Smith: Representative of Tasmanian Principals’ Association, Assistant Principal, Ogilvie High School
