Inclusion Policy and the Swimming and Water Safety Program

Inclusion is only for those students on the " High Needs" register in grades 3 , 4, & 5.
Any student on the "High Needs" register with assigned aide time for the classroom is to be provided with 1:1'in-water' aide support to participate in the Departmental Swimming and Water Safety Program for grades 3, 4and 5.
Assigned aides must have the necessary aquatic teaching skills to provide a meaningful experience for the "High Needs" students, and will work in conjunction with the swimming teacher.
