On January 1, 2005 as required by the Education Act 1994, School Associations came into operation throughout the state. This website will be maintained so that information relating to the introduction and operation of School Associations can continue to be accessed.

Review of School Associations Survey
At the end of 2007, state schools and their School Associations and Parents and Friends committees were surveyed about parent engagement in schools. This report summarises the key responses to the survey. It contains four recommendations for Schools and Learning Services aimed at building on the strengths of School Associations and Parents and Friends committees and at increasing their effectiveness.
