Pathway planning is about helping young people to plan for their future. It will assist your child to identify their strengths, interests, goals and aspirations, and will support them in making informed and realistic choices about their future education, training and work pathways.

From 2007, all students in Years 8, 9 and 10 will participate in pathway planning with the support of pathway planning officers who work in their schools. When developing their pathway plan, your child will be encouraged to carefully consider who they are, where they are going and how they might get there. They will be encouraged to discuss their plans with you, their teachers, mentors and friends.
