The Microsoft Partners in Learning Program is a professional learning project relating to online learning. This project is open to Department of Education teachers. It supports the design and delivery of online learning, including extension and enrichment programs for students who are highly able. Teachers will explore how online programs can enable them to differentiate the curriculum and provide personalised learning pathways for students who are highly able, or how online learning can become part of their classroom program.
A requirement of the program is that schools commit to the program by providing an opportunity for participating teachers to lead an online collaborative project at their school as part of the professional learning program. A Memorandum of Understanding with each participating school will underpin the program.
