It’s a big conversation. There are over a million children attending education and care services across Australia.

We encourage you to share your experience and knowledge. This will ensure that the NQF remains current and continues to lift the quality of practice.

Australians provided their feedback during the first round of 2019 NQF Review consultations. The Australian Government used this feedback to include the options detailed in the Consultation Regulation Impact Statement (CRIS). We are now seeking your feedback on the CRIS.

The Australian Government values all feedback. The Australian Government will share what is told during this journey. Continuing the conversation all the way through to rollout of any changes in 2022.

We want to capture as many voices as possible by 30 April 2021 during this second consultation round. We’d like to hear about what’s most important to you.

What is the NQF?

The NQF (National Quality Framework) introduces a new quality standards to improve education and care across:

  • long day care
  • family day care
  • preschool/kindergarten
  • and outside school hours care services.
