School bell rings in Buckland!
8 June 2021
Around 25 students started school at the Buckland Community Hall this week as a temporary measure to enable them to continue their learning while the Tasman Highway undergoes important safety work.
Principals, teachers, parents, carers and students have worked alongside Department of Education staff to prepare for student learning at this interim school until the road opens.
It has been wonderful to see the school community come together to support these arrangements in such a short amount of time. It has been a truly collaborative effort from everyone involved and inspiring to see such community spirit and resilience in action. Well done everyone!
