ANZAC Centenary Competition - Tasmania

THE ANZAC CENTENARY
Between 2014 and 2018 Australia will commemorate the Anzac Centenary, marking 100 years since our nation’s involvement in the First World War. Commemoration of the centenary of the landings by Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli will occur in 25 April 2015.
THE COMPETITION
Tasmania has been allocated places for 7 students and 2 chaperones to attend the ANZAC Day commemorations at Gallipoli. The ANZAC Centenary Competition is being held to decide who will be the Tasmanian representatives.
The winners travel to Gallipoli and attend the Dawn Service at ANZAC Cove on 25 April 2015. The tour will take approximately 12 days. The winners will be accompanied by two chaperones.
ELIGIBILITY
The ANZAC Centenary competition is open to all Tasmanian Year 11 students from both government and non-government schools.
Entries can only be submitted by individual students and not groups of students.
