The library and archives services delivered through 45 public libraries, the State Library of Tasmania and the Tasmanian Archives include services and programs to help you explore Tasmania’s history, and learn for pleasure, work, study and everyday life.

Come into your local library to:

  • borrow books, magazines and DVDs
  • get help with reading, writing and maths or digital skills
  • use the internet
  • join in programs and events
  • meet or study with others or find a quiet space.
