Hobart College is a government senior secondary school. It is in Mount Nelson, Hobart, Tasmania. It opened in 1913 as Hobart High School. Then renamed to Hobart High Matriculation College in 1966. Then it became Hobart Matriculation College in 1965. It was finally named Hobart College. The college has education twenty students who have gone on to become Rhode Scholars. The college caters for approximately 1000 students in Years 11 and 12. The college has one of the largest International Student Programs in Tasmania.
