New Norfolk High School is a government secondary school located 35 minutes from Hobart in the Derwent Valley at New Norfolk. A respectful learning community with high expectations for ourselves, for others and for the way in which we learn together, the school caters for approximately 350 students from Years 7 to 12.

New Norfolk High School is a member of the Derwent Collective partnership. This partnership actively works to facilitate shared enrolments across the Collective; giving students access to a broader range of subject areas while maintaining their connection to their community. Small class sizes and the schools ongoing connection means that we are able to know and support year 11 and 12 students as individuals, while also supporting them into post-school pathways In addition to TASC and VET courses, students can choose to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award as part of their learning program.

All courses listed in this Course Guide are intended offerings only and availability for the selected year will depend on enrolment numbers. VET offerings are also subject to suitability processes and MoU arrangements. Please contact the school or college to determine current availability.
