The Polytechnic and the Skills Institute will continue to operate and deliver training to students up until the time TasTAFE begins.
Students will enrol in courses for 2013 as they do now, and both organisations will continue to operate up until the time TasTAFE begins.
After 1 July 2013, continuity will be provided to students by TasTAFE. Students who commence their studies after this date will enrol directly through TasTAFE, or through a college (as they do now) for Year 11 and 12 programs.
Yes. The TSI will continue to provide training to apprentices/trainees, and learners undertaking training related to their employment, up until the changes take place. This role will then be undertaken by TasTAFE, which will provide continuity for learners after it is established.
There will be no change to the way VET is delivered in colleges for 2013.

Adults wanting to undertake VET for 2012 or 2013 will enrol in the Tasmanian Polytechnic, or with their employer through the Tasmanian Skills Institute, as normal.
TasTAFE will provide continuity for learners wanting to continue study after this time.
VET in schools will continue as usual in 2013. The Report recommends improvements to the VET in Schools program and these will be worked on for the future.
