The Inclusive Education Graduate Course is an intensive qualification with the University of Tasmania, which supports teachers to develop skills, competence and confidence in teaching students with disability.
This qualification will enable teachers to further strengthen their skills to support students to access, participate in and achieve meaningful education outcomes.
This course is delivered in Terms 1 and 2 each year with the capacity for up to 30 teachers to enrol.
Participants complete study 0.5 FTE and teach 0.5 FTE during Term 1 and 2, and undertake the following four units of study:
- Inclusive Practices in Education Settings
- Educating Students with Dyslexia and Learning Difficulties
- Re-engaging Disengaged Students
- Educating Students with Multiple Disabilities.
